Our neighbor, Ashleigh Dononvan, had a skate party for her birthday. We have never been skating with Emily Caroline so this was to be an interesting practice. She was very excited to get to the party and get the skates on. After about 5 minutes of trying to walk around,...skating wasn't so easy or fun until she got with Carson Donovan. Now these two are ones to be watched. We always joke about him and EC and here are some pics that show why. He always wants to hug or kiss her before she leaves. It's quite cute now, but when they are older,...not so much. hehe!
Carson had no trouble falling and falling just about every 10 seconds. Emily Caroline didn't think it was so bad when she was with him. She actually got the hang of it after a while and went to the middle with me. I hadn't skated in years, but it was really fun!
The rink ran relay races towards the end. Emily Caroline LOVED running around the rink. She even went when it wasn't her turn. It was hilarious! She had no idea and didn't care anyway. She even got out there to do the dances they led. She had a lot of fun!
