The "Alabama Freeze" is what the news called it. It was supposed to fall after midnight and continue falling until morning. We anxiously awaited the snow, but when we woke up,... NO SNOW! It did start to fall a few hours later and stayed until midafternoon. Emily Caroline was very excited to go outside. We bundled up and headed out. Parker didn't seem to know what to think, but he was game. We went down the street to see "Em and Nate". They ran around in the snow and threw a few snowballs. Hali absolutely loved it! We headed back up the street to get cardboard to try and slide down our neighbors hill. It worked the first few times, but snow quickly melted and made it more difficult. At first, Emily Caroline wasn't really sure why we were throwing something at her, but she caught the hang of it and threw a few herself. It was fun while it lasted!
